Once the cars are reveiled there will be enough to distinct them much like what distincts the 5 series from the M5. Alot.

The E90 will be a nice car, great front, tail lights but it will be a bit bigger than the E90 en E 46 coupe, its like 5-serie coupe, a real 4-serie if you see what I mean,
They change the name from 4-serie to 3-serie but not the size:t-hands:

ROTFL... I alwmost fell of my chair (I'm not kidding either)... no words can describe this <bleep>.

Do ppl think this make them cool or something ????:t-crazy2:

Perhaps Eni can speak on this; What's the news on a DSG gearbox being offered on the E90 series on the M3, several reputable magazine's are saying this.

The convertible is looking nice and fresh. The only thing I`m looking at is the bootlid. Is it really going cut so far in the boot as that ps suggests?

I'm BACK!!!!! Sorry..my computer died on me and I was searching for a replacement...didn't want to build a budget computer, i like to build bada$$ rigs.

now to get back on topic. Well, there is a lot of distinction between the regular E92 and the M3. I think enilab has already listed them not to mention that some folks might want to spend an extra minute or two looking at the pictures. The fenders flares might not look all that different because they are covered but please look at the fish-gil (my own word..YAY!!) on the front fenders. Now if you look closely at the gils thenyou migt notice how the fender flares in front of it.

My question is...and i'm not sure if it has been answered is. Is the M3 going to come with a manual. I hope it does because as a previous owner and future buyer I want a manual. I can understand why the M5 came with a smg because it's a saloon and the M6 because its too highend but the m3 is the enthusiasts car so I hope it has a manual.

I'm planning on buying an M3 in 2 years if my finacial situation is good (god i hope so), but i'm not sold on SMG III yet. I know its great but to me nothing offers the same pleasure and control of a manual.

So please...someone tell me that this car will come with a manual!

seriously this might be OT.. but i dont want a manuall in my M bimmer anymore..
ppl who have experienced the SMG knows what im talking about..
its just wonderfull.. love it

yea, my dad was bitching about how BMW didnt want to put a manual tranny in the M5 and now he swears by the SMG after driving it so you may want to atleast test out how the SMG feels before purchasing a manual..

Well just_me I hope you're right and i hope bmw doesn't do with the M3 what they did with the M5...make you wait extra time to get the manual.

But as for this car, it's looking very promising. I know i'm stating the obvious but damn this car is going to sell like legalized weed...LOL ;) :D

and no...i don't do drugs:usa7uh:

ohh i didnt mean it that way just me.. options are gr8..i should know that as a MB fan.. they have all kinds of cars and options..
but personally give me the SMG.. its just gr8

The E92 is truly a potentialy incredible car. I have no doubt about that.

I really can't wait for the reviews on the upcoming M3. Actually I can't even wait to see a picture of the M3 nude!(without camoflouge)

Matt you are right. I do have to testdrive the SMG before I purchase but that is a long time from now because BMW wont let a 22 year old test drive an M5...at least not the pricks in northern california. The reason i want the manual is because it puts me in control of the car, well at least more so then the SMG. I don't like my left foot sitting still when I drive, it gets lonely LOL...thats why I need that extra pedal not to mention i love heel toeing, rev-match downshifting and other quirks that only come with a manual.

to get back on topic, BMWFREAK I can't wait for the reviews either but c'mon...I want to see the freakin' concept M3 already. We all know that the look is already complete...just show us the car already.

I now know how to drive stick and DON'T enjoy it at all. Too much freak'n work just to keep things movin. So I wouldn't be the one to purchase a stick shift. Does driving a stick make a man feel better about his masculinity or what? LoL, you guys should read the ego driven DSG vs. Six speed debate at VWVortex.

wut dealer did you try?
I kind of agree, There is something very special about a manual that autos or even SMGs/DSGs cant offer. Even if it hurts the performance of the car it may be worth considering.

Deutch: Manuals are awsome and very interactive that really makes the driver feel in complete control over the car without the interaction of electronics or boring automatics.

Also it makes us feel manly! :D

Yeh, a stick does make you feel more in control. Just for a guy my size to shift around constantly over and over again, that can be very trying, especially if you've got big feet. I have yet to drive a "newer" car that may be roomier w/ a stick, so who knows, could change. As for now I hate it.
