I sometimes forget we all view the world with our own lenses. I grew up in Monterey, California surrounded by a fantastic car culture. I assumed the rest of the world was like that. I live in San Francisco, which is at the forefront of many American, and in some cases world trends. I see what's coming and get impatient.

I've enjoyed the debate. Here's to BMW figuring out that there's a market here for the 1er.... and soon.

OFF-Topic: I'm traveling to California soon so if you have the time you can leave me a PM with suggestions where to go and what to see. Also is Palm Springs worth it if you have ever been there? I'm just asking because it's on my way from LV. I might decide on staying in LA so anything that's closer to it would be good.

Oh my! This is the way to sell the 1er in the US! I showed my 6 year daughter and she loved it! And then proceeded to cry when I told her they don't sell them here. Oh man did she cry!
