1 Series BMW 1-Series F20 Performance Accessories concept revealed

The BMW 1 Series is a range of subcompact executive cars (C-segment) manufactured by BMW since 2004. Positioned as the entry-level model in BMW range of products, the first generation was produced in hatchback, coupé and convertible body styles.

Human

You. The Road. Nothing else.
BMW has announced plans to introduce the 1-Series Performance Accessories concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Developed in cooperation with M GmbH, the model boasts a unique appearance with new bumpers, revised side skirts and carbon fiber mirror casings. There's also a sport-tuned suspension, a high-performance braking system and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are minor, but include a flat-bottom steering wheel, carbon fiber / Alcantara trim and special floor mats.

That rear diffusor sure made me think of the i-concepts.

By the way, are there any performance models comming up?

Bmw if you are going to copy the polo at least do it properly.
What's with the oversised 3rd brake light? "side spoilers" on rear screen? horrendous wiper (goes into the glass not bodywork hint hint), tacky racing stripes (really? are these gordini look alikes?), even the badge placement is better on the polo, I like how bmw cut the stripe "around" the 120d badge (what werre they thinking?), To top it off that is the tackiest "diffuser" I have seen in my life with the "performance" number plate under the 120d badge (a contradiction in itself).
And that's just the rear! I wouldn't dream moving to the front. Anxious to see who buys these things if they actually sell any.

Do they have any decals available for the headlights? ;)

To BMW's credit though, this is the best looking version of the new 1er to date. I'm sure the pricing is won't be so appealing though. :(

^^ That bumper looks horrible though. The her needs a redesign already. Can't believe it, it's not even no the market properly.

.... horrendous wiper (goes into the glass not bodywork hint hint), ..

Scott says it's cheaper to do it like this. LOLZ! Really, when a Polo does it properly? The Bimmer costs 5 times as much (!!) as a 120d with some nice equipment vs a base Polo.

Now, that even beats the SLK in the most ugly car in the world contest.
WTH BMW ?? Base 1er with 13" rims (I know they won't fit) will look 100 times better than this :eusa_doh:

Ok, the SLK has a slightly awkward front end, but its FAR, FAR , FAR from being the ugliest car. This is MUCH uglier. God, I look at the 6 series, and this... and wonder how the same company designed it. Those ugly black and white strips are just horrendous.

At least this car doesn't look like it has a fat lady ass and a ugly, skinny teenager face but they are both ugly as hell in my book :)
