This feature automatically creates birthday threads for our members.

How It Works
The forum automatically creates a dedicated celebration thread for active members on their special day.

• The thread starter: The thread is automatically published by the forum's owner/admin or a pre-selected account.
• The timing: The system scans for birthdays and posts the thread(s) daily.
• Activity Requirements: To prevent clutter, the system will not create a thread for inactive or brand-new accounts. You must meet these criteria to get a thread:
  • You must have logged into the forum within the last 14 days.
  • You must have a minimum message count ≥ 10 posts.

How to Opt-Out of Birthday Threads
If you meet the activity requirements but do not want an automatic thread created for you, you can opt out using your profile settings:

1. Click your Username/Avatar at the top right of the screen.
2. Select Account Details.
3. Scroll down to the Date of Birth section.
4. Update your checkmarks:
   • To allow a birthday thread to be created: Check "Show day and month of birth".
   • To opt out completely (No birthday thread will be made): Uncheck "Show day and month of birth".
5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Questions and Answers:

Q: Is it possible to have all birthdays put into a single thread?
A: No. The idea of a birthday thread is to spotlight a single member and have a place to share nice comments directed solely to the one member.

Q: Will the Thread starter username ever receive a birthday thread?
A: No.
