Unless houses are really different in the Netherlands

According to the same dataset (2024 edition) used for your chart, this his how it breaks down in more detail. I would draw your attention to the significant difference in dwelling stock once you take into account if the property is detached or not... the Netherlands has the lowest number of detached houses with the exception of Malta, Norway is the 6th highest.

I think it is reasonabe to say houses are really different in the Netherlands, when compared to Norway.

A quick google search of semi detached homes in the Netherlands shows many properties with what appears to be allocated parking spaces for each home.

On mine you can. The front panel pops up and slides over the rear panel, there is also an interior blind.
