come on, that should be a vote for the A8L W12! If you liked the S8 why wouldn't you?

S8 is more sportoriented than the comfortable W12 and it also looks better than the W12.

The S600 easily, this is Mercedes' forte.

I agree with you, the S8 is my hands down favorite full size sedan. But if I had the chose I'd have a S8L made with the interior of the W12! Then I'd have the engine adjusted to match the out put of the up coming RS6 569hp!!:eusa_danc

I'm confident in rebuffing. :D This is what Mercedes Benz still does best: Absolute refinement, comfort and safety over the distance.

I've been a back seat passenger in both the S350L and the LS460L, and in terms of the criteria that CAR-NNOSSEUR laid out in terms of comfort and entertainment, the LS is clearly the leader from what I've experienced.

Then again, you could argue that I was in a base S-Class, but if LS can do it for the same money, hell why not? :D

This is what MB does better than anyone in the world..
so the vote is pretty obvious

Mercedes-Benz S600, simply the best cross country touring sedan out there.:t-roses:

There are great cars, there are magnificent cars, there are fabulous cars. Then there is Mercedes 600.

lexus for me. the car just is great then followed by the a8 and maseratti battle. The rest dont really do it for me besides the 760li

I'd want to race an M5 cross country before some luxo barge.:usa7uh:

This is a cross country tour or trip, not a race! And who would won't to race a M5 cross country with 3 friend's, where talking about a 3 or more day trip!:t-crazy2:

Easy choice.

Mercedes-Benz S320 CDI. Fuel economy (a consideration for me, always), power, fun-to-drive and very luxurious and comfortable. :t-cheers:

I'm sure the others all make excellent rides as well (perhaps not so the sportier cars from that list), but my personal preference is for the S-Class. I still lust after that car after being allowed to drive one when it was brand new!

i chose the 760long

and i would be in the right rear seat!
:t-cheers:
