According to Automobilwoche, Bentley is considering a coupè version of the Azure Convertible.

However a Bentley spokesman rejected rumors of a four-door Coupé on the platform of the Continental GT as answer to the Porsche Panamera planned for 2009.

Instead under consideration is the adoption of the technology of valve variable geometry (VTG), similar to that one used on Porsche 997 Turbo, that it could boost the 6,0 lt W12 engine of Continental GT from 560 to beyond 700 horsepower. Hybrid and diesel motors are not under consideration.

An aswer to a new RR Camargue (101EX concept) - coming about a year after a new Corniche.

What about Maybach? Any MM coupes & cabrios in the work? :t-hands:

I wonder why they don't just make a hardtop for the Azure convertible.

BTW Yannis, the Azure in your picture is the old model :usa7uh:

I must say, I don't see much point in making this car, isn't the continental GT big enough, or is this a true four seater! Also going by the Azure convertible, this is going to be much more expensive than the continental GT with less power, personally I wouldn't buy one!

wow a azure coupe..that should be killer.. make it..and make it right..not like a VAG bentley..

Although I'm a fan of the current Arnage I'm still waiting for Bentley to launch a brand new very old world yet super modern luxury car. I think the world needs one.

the gt conv and the azure are totaly diferent vehicals. The azure is more of a cruser for riding down rodeo drive in and not using tons of hp and the gt is using all that power. Well i really doubt that many people use all the power in the gt's but i think that there is a huge diference. Im sure this is going to be one hell of a stunner!!
