(a little too fast, me lawd)

I'm trying really hard to like this car.

I never really paid attention to this car until recently, while reading that new James Bond Novel Carte Blanche, I read that 007 has a Bentley Continental GT. Considering that the novel is based on recent times, I looked it up quickly just to take another glance at it. Perhaps it is the fact that I am now tainted with the 007 vision of the car, but it is mighty attractive and beautiful. Not something I'd picture 007 in, though. While powerful it still seems to luxurious for him.

Regardless, I still think this car is a beauty and this facelift is a winner. I like the proportions. I sometimes worry the car will look better with the top up or with the top down, not both. Here it seems to work. It looks good in both.

Whatever the designers are trying to do, they can't hide the fact that the convertible version of the Continental GT looks like a bathtub on wheels. Do anyone else think the new sports front bumper looks very much like the one on the earliest SL 55?

Monster, very good observation there. You are right. It looks very much like the SL 55. Especially when you see how it counters out on both sides.
