Clarkson is warped.

He likes the F40 because it's the most uncompromising and doesn't have a flappy paddle gearbox or any electronic nannies. It's also the lightest of any of the cars. The thing probably handles pretty well I'd imagine. Of all the cars, it would be the one you'd least want to drive every day.

I can kind of understand that the McLaren is still one of the fastest car out there. But the fact that that Zonda got spanked by the XJ220 is quite amazing. I know for a fact that the Jag is a pretty damn heavy car too.

Clarkson does have a point though. These new cars have luxury and are easier to drive in town... better fuel economy I guess. That's something that is not necessary for these kinds of cars
