Would go for the Bentley Flying Spur!! Love this car, especially the stunning interior!!

Really tough call.
They both have so much prestige, respect & recognition.
I can't decide yet.

I would choose Bentley without any hesitation..Prestige,quality and exlusivity are on Flying Spur´s side..Besides,honesty,would you rather see yourself behind Bentleys steering wheel or MB´s?

whatever the bentley is, we cannot ignore the notion of perceived luxury and perceived exclusivity, even if deep under it is just a phaeton, and golf's older brother.

what shocks is that a car that can cost in lowly trims about 50,000 euros can ultimatley be deemed more spaicous, luxurious etc... than something that was designed from the ground up to be an ultimate luxo barge.

nonetheless there are some odd points, for one apparently autozeitung deems the S more spacious. quickly looking at the pics above, specially the rear passengers, ou get the exact opposite feeling. it is not a scientific measure i am brandishing, but it's a bit odd:P

furthermore what i find even more odd is that both lack a dedicated armrest at the rear. the MB one might seem better witth the wood and command, but at the end both are of the old drop down type. armrests are not critical but those cars should theoretically be people carriers, and should see use at their backs half of the time.

Both are tremendously wondeful beasts. Any wouldn't be the wrong choice.
However at this price tag, I think the Bentley is more exclusive.

The thing is that the S class is not so rare and thus the S65 looses few points here.
I remember when Jeremy Clarkson testdrove the S65, then took a loudspeaker and put on and add saying "my engine is bigger than yours" -
Not so many people know this is a special car.
Here the Bentley wins.

I would take the AMG, for sure! ;) But i like the rear interior more at the bently than at the AMG, but berhaps because they didn't chose the 4-seat-alternative.

This is great:

Both cars need better interior colour and trim combinations. The grey leather just doesnt work with the wood. I still think MB should only offer dark wood or carbon fibre trim for their AMG cars.

Out of the 2, I will pick the Merc. The Flying Spur probably feels more special but I can't take the odd proportions of the car.

Out of the two (or any other) I would take this one :

The diamond pattern stitching must be something new to the S65.
It really adds a new level of sophistication, love it!!

Give me the S65 of course.. the f/l is really going to be an improvement.

I rather own the upcoming BMW 760i :D ......seriosly, even if I was ultrarich I would never buy a car like these. I'm not intrested to own such large cars. And I dont need the luxury, if I want something fast I drive something else.

Not my cup of tea.

If I had the money, I would wait for the baby Rolls - probably much better handling than both the S65 and the bentley. More exclusive and hope will be better looking.
Also hope BMW will give it a monstrous engine :eusa_pray

:t-cheers:
