Vs AutoMotor&Sport: BMW 550i vs. Mercedes E500.

Either way you can`t go wrong with either of these cars. I`ll admit that..
Give me the E550 with the sport package! I only wish that provided a 6-speed manual.

Plus, I think there won't be an E550, in Australia, at least - I believe it'll be kept as the E500.

We, all carfans know how good 5er, A6 and E-class are. These three all have a very high standard and its down to personal preferences which one you choose. Noone is better than the other, they are all great.
But hey, how fun would these carboards be without carfans fighting which brand is the best

550i hardly lags behind E500, yet it brings its sports characteristics in the front line. Agility & temperament are its strenghts that stand out, yet the comfort is not so good.

Oh right, so I was right is saying the 5er was the better car dynamically!

I thought something was wrong when a merc beat a bimmer at its own game!
