.As I read the individual test reports, I get the distinct impression that the lack of driver engagement is limited only to comparing the M3 against the Cayman S. The reports on the other V8-engined 4/5-seaters don't indicate higher levels of feedback, but do indicate lower levels of response to driver inputs than the M3. So, the M3's lack of driver engagment is relative only to the much lighter, mid-engined Cayman. And thus, not really that harsh.It loosing against the porsche was not the harsh part
