AutoExpress E63S vs. Porsche Panamera Turbo (track battle)

"Both have dual clutch gearboxes" for a season journalist to get the sort of gearboxes these cars use is just dissapointing than again I've never been a fan of Mr Steve

Credit to where it's due the E63s is a beast didn't expect it to be quicker than the Turbo around the track.

Give the Panamera Turbo its optional PDCC-suspension and it will destroy the AMG anywhere.

The laws of physics are in favor of the E63S here.
I am wondering how the normal 563hp E63 would fair here against the Panamera Turbo.
I bet it would be a win for the E

Looks like the E63s has landed on our shores. Starting price is expensive.

Jeez, the 2003 W211 E55 had a MSRP of $76.5k, my old '05 E55 loaded was $88k with a $79k MSRP.

Nowadays, the $80k range will get you an E43 or a C63 with some options. Also, hilarious how MBUSA describes the E43 engine:

The E63 S sounds delicious and it makes the Panamera Turbo look like a little undernourished and too muted and certainly less exciting car.

The E63 S seems to be a deadly track car and beast when it comes to acceleration and I am sure it will be quicker than the Panamera Turbo S as well

As obviously formidable as these cars are, they would appear (to me) to cater to considerably different tastes respectively. And while proficiency on a closed racing circuit is an undeniable asset, I have difficulties interpreting this attribute as an argument of priority.

My personal "for fun" track car would be a gutted, fitted with a rollbar old Mazda MX5. Or if I weren't so friggin' old, I'd climb back into a gokart (something I enjoyed doing from the early to mid 1990s').
