I know it's stupid on such performance cars... but if only Ford had a better interior !

Today I happen to be driving Focus diesel as loan car. Yes the interior isn't as refined as the germans. But it's nothing wrong with it either. It's ergonomical and everything works, no loose parts, no annyoing noises. For me, an interior is no final reason not to buy a car. I've been driving various bimmers for many years and now I drive a Fiesta ST.
Does it make me unhappy? No, the interior is doing what it should do. Does it make the driving experience less engaging? hell no!

I always love it when a underdog and cheaper car beats a more expensive car. For me, between these three cars , there is only one for me and it's the one with the letter 'R'


PS I have to give credit for the steering by Ford. Even if it's the standard Focus is better than moderns BMW's.

Interior issue with the Ford has to do with its look - I don't like the design of the central part, with the boxy appearance of the screen and controls around / Prevented me to consider a Ford for my next car eventhough that's a brand whose chassis I appreciate.

LOL all three cars have the letter R in their badges, RS, RS3 and R. Is it the Golf you want as that only has the letter R? I am presuming you are talking about the Ford as you own an ST!

I see. When members here speak about interiors it's always about interior quality. At some point you get brainwashed by reading all that so you automatically assume everyone is talking about quality. Sorry for my misinterpretation.

Of course it's a Ford. I hated the brand for almost my entire life until I drove a ST.
Yep, I love it when a premium car lose to a brand people have prejudices against.
