Autobilds two favorites are:

C 200 compressor

and

C 320 CDI

probably those are the best C classes ..from all views seen..
the high end modells arent sane when seen through eco eyes..
and the mid range is kinda to expensive and not to good..
so the result is..the low end petrol..
and the high end diesel.. as both are economically best fit..

I'll stop by a gas station later today and buy the issue. Still have not gotten around to checking it out.

The C200 Kompressor sounds like a solid choice, based on my experiences with the W203 C180K and C200K.

C320 CDI? A nice car for sure, but expensive and very powerful - powerful enough that some people feel they don't need all this power. I think the C220 CDI would have been a better choice as it combines realistic everyday performance with good fuel economy.
