Autobild: BMW M6 Cabrio and Lambo Gallardo Spyder on N-ring

^doesent the C is CSL sthand for coupe rather than Covertible?

Well...tuff choice..but i would have the bmw..its more practable. You can look good, drive fast and still get ya shoping in the boot...where as the lambo u cant use it everyday...bmw is my choice....:)

Why, may I ask, wouldn't you be able to use the Lambo everyday? It does after all have the same kind of gearbox if that's what you're thinking about. The only thing I'll hand it to the M6 is its rear seating space, and even then it isn't quite enough for a comfortable pair to sit in.

May be cause it is expensive and you can't really park it at the local mall with out people gawking at it. My neighbor has a Gallardo (the coupe), all he uses it for is weekend drives and he is always paranoid some one is going to key it.

Perhaps. I know I'd gawk at the M6... :D But yes, the M6 does have a lower key image.

I can tell you this, I would never drive a Gallardo during wintertime here in Sweden. That I would do with a M6 becuase its not as exclusive as a Gallardo.

Not even with AWD? :D

For the winter, I think I'll drive an SUV.

In my humbe opinion there is a misconception about supercar usuabilty. True, they aren't the best daily-drivers, but the fact remains that a Gallardo (or even a Zonda) has far greater usability than an F40.

Most certainly have today's supercars adapted a level of comfort and whatnot which were not available in past generations and as a result, vehicles of these types are now being used in a daily-driver capacity.
