The PDK GT3 was tested to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3,3 sec and the manual is 0,7 sec slower. This is a huge gap. With other producers, for example BMW, the manual versions are slower with something like 0,2 sec. Is the PDK so good or the manual of Porsche is not well adopted to this car (similar to the E60 case using the manual from the E39)? Up to 100 km/h only one gear change is necessary, so it must be something with the launch control

The difference is 155 kg. Because of its layout the Porsche doesn't have a propeller shaft, separate differential housing, manual is 20 kg lighter than DSG, Porsche has much shorter exhaust pipes and lighter body, because it is not designed to accommodate 4 people, so BMW is handicapped from the very beginning. But of course the next generation M4 will be at least 50 kg lighter and I don't have any idea if the next gen 911 is going to be lighter than the current one

But by far the lightest in it's class. With four seats, the level of performance the CS exudes here is really impressive though I feel at this price I wouldn't call it value for money. When all is considered, the 2018MY M4 Competition Package would be my pick of the range.
