Passat wins as i would expect. A4 , C and 3 series are too expensive and don't have enough interior space to win.

It would make for an interesting read. Whilst the Passat is a good car it goes against stiff competition, I'm surprised it got most points.

very respectable result for 320 if you factor in price versus the other compeitors
i mean these are theoreticla competitors who are separated in many different leagues once you factor in price

E90 is a very good car i agree but it has it's weak spots and next A4 and C class will strike at those weak spots exactly. Namely more space in the rear seat and in the trunk and better and more luxurious cabin.

So what? A car is judged for what it is as a product and not according to how many innovations the company USED to make.

in sweden Saab is very safe buy. Its cheaper to own and fix and with good warranties than the germans. You get much car for the money. Its likely Im buying one next year.

I respect SAAB and i would take one instead of many other cars on the list but truth is that General Motors has ruined SAAB. The Opel Vectra platform which 9-3 uses is mediocre to say the least and the car has no chance competing not only against C class, A4 or 3 series also against Passat or even new Volvo S40.

On the other hand it's obvious that since SAAB is Swedish that you will like it more than i do.

Saab 93 is car with with sporty ambitions, with great chassi and good steering feeling and then we have those wonderful Turbo engines. Im not intrested in the engine, 1.8T which were tested here, im more intrested in the bigger turbo engines which can be tuned easily. Also, saab 93 is the last swedish car that actually looks good.
There is only one negative thing with Saab and its the FWD. Overall, its one tempting package.

I'd rather have a nice Golf GTI or R32 instead of a Saab 93.

dont give me that baised thing and I didnt compare to the germans. I talked about the saab in general.

BTW Im buying a used saab since I cant afford a brand new Saab, or bmw or audi. Im not lucky as you to afford a 645i. R32 are still expensive cars in Sweden and Im not intrested in an old R32 then I rather buy a saab for its practicality.
