Which Audi 4-door car would be your ride of choice?

I've voted for the A7, but I think the new A6 will look in real much better than in the pics.......
The A8 is a disaster for me personaly.........

Just my 2 cent...

What else, other than the A7?

The A4 looks bland and uninspired. The A8 looks like a sad A4 and the A6 is kind of weird. The A5 is good looking, but the A7 is indeed looking very good.

I actually like the new A7, even though I hated it the momment I saw it!

My vote went for the A6 especially the front is nice, the rear is also good, can't really swallow the fact that the exterior is otherwise a copy of the old one though.
The A4 is nice from the front but that's it, A5 doesn't look too good with 4 doors, don't really understand why there is one, A7, again don't understand the meaning of it, looks don't strike me either and the A8 is just ugly, enough said.

They all more or less look alike so might as well go for the most luxurious model, the A8 for me please.

I'd say the A6 has the best designed front end of any Audi right now but I love the A5 SB. So the A5 SB gets my vote.

Dare I say that based solely on photographs, my nod would go to the new A6. But as I've seen the A7 in the metal on several occasions, I must say that it is an absolutely gorgeous automobile. Oddly, the A7 is far less photogenic than the A6. Alas, the verdict must wait until I can see and experience the A6 in real life.

With the current generation of the A8, Audi has managed to produce a sedan that is not really all that pleasant to behold exterior wise. The A4 comes across far better in Avant form. As a sedan, its' pleasant but a tad bland.

I love the A5 Coupe so much, but I cant vote for the A5 Sportback, cause to me it just ruins the proportions.

I don't like the A7 ass either, and I dont like the A8. The A6 is to new for me to like it.

So, I will go for a car that I really like! That is close to the A5 Coupe:

Easily the A6. It has FAR better proportions then the rest of the line-up.

What is different than the previous A6? And what makes the proportions better than the A4, because the proportions are pretty much the same, only bigger/smaller...

I am going to change the question slighty, to ugliest sedan. That is without doubt the A8. That car is simply ugly, and A4 and A6 aren't.
A5 SB and A7 have four doors, but hardly sedans....

Because most Audi cars are sculpted like bars of soap with no real 3D surfacing, they tend to look the same in pictures (2D) as they do in real life (3D).
I think (haven't seen it IRL yet) the A7 has more 3D design, so it could indeed be the case that it looks better in real life than that it does in pictures..

This is easily answered, firstly what makes it better proportioned than the C6? It's all to do with the MLP platform, unlike the C6 the C7 has a shorter front overhang and a longer wheelbase so it's proportions look better side on. What makes it better than the B8? In my opinion it's all to do with it's slightly longer body.

As for the rest of you kind of like soup statement, each brand chose a certain style, you like the styling of BMW best (obviously) but your or my opinion doesn't really matter as it's all down to sales and Audi's sales over the last 5 years has shown they are getting the looks of their cars spot-on, after all they are the only one which isn't constantly messing with the formula with each new release. ;)

If his or others opinion doesn't really matter and all that matters is sales numbers, why are you here in a car forum meant to express opinions on cars? Why don't you just check monthly sales report and be happy? ;)

All of us are entitled to an opinion, that wasn't my point. My point was that every forum is biased by their very nature, go to an Audi forum and BMW and Merc will be slated, likewise on a Merc or BMW forum and none of them truly reflect public opinion which are what sales do.

The simple fact is that if Audi were getting it constantly wrong as Klier was suggesting then it would show up in their sales figures which it clearly doesn't. :t-hands:
