BMW also discloses the group's total assets. Bentley and Lamborghini operate under the Audi umbrella. The table shows the revenue figures for these brands. You don't need to search. approximately 1 billion euros.

First, I don't understand your emoji. What the heck are you laughing at?

Second, in the chart you posted about Audi's profits, the only one that isn't broken down is Audi itself, and I pointed that out because it's ridiculous. What's so funny about that?

What does the BMW Group have to do with it? Bentley and Lamborghini are VW Group brands, just like Audi; they "operate under the umbrella," lol. It's just a financial arrangement on paper for internal use. VW bought them, not Audi.

Third, it provides operating profit, not pure profit as it should.

The Audi Group comprises Audi, Bentley, the three traditional Italian brands Lamborghini, Ducati, and Italdesign, and Audi Sport GmbH.

I know, you understand it's just a figure on paper? Do you know that the brands Bentley, Lambo, Ducati belong to the VW Group? Including Audi?

Ya know, I really like the looks of this. Of course, it's an example of the now "old school", soon outgoing Marc Lichte supervised design paradigm. Nothing "Radical Next" about it. I guess we won't be seeing that until the production version of the Concept C and the A4 etron Sportback/Avant are presented. Or some further "Radical Next" concept vehicle beforehand (reported socalled insider innuendo: A "Radical Next", Fraschella team designed, concept of an Audi etron GT successor sometime towards the middle or end of 2027. 2027 IAA Mobility in Munich perhaps ?).

Even that concept sphere didn't help much; well-intentioned, but way off course and out of step with the times.

Confirmed: There will be no successor to the Audi A8, the brand's flagship model.
Audi eliminates the A8 to focus its strategy on high-margin SUVs.

Rumors about the end of Audi's iconic A8 model had been circulating for some time. At its annual press conference, the automaker confirmed: The sedan will not be replaced.

Audi is ceasing production of the A8. The end of production of this luxury sedan is a major blow to the Neckarsulm plant. Since 1994, this model, which for decades represented the technological pinnacle of the premium brand, had been manufactured at the Baden-Württemberg plant. Employees worked tirelessly to find a successor. Now, at least for the time being, production has ended. Manufacturing is being phased out gradually, while the model is being withdrawn from the market.

Axing the A8 makes sense.

For Audi, it makes a lot of sense. Logical decision.
Audi should focus on the Q7 and Q9.

IMHO, Audi will present some sort of low ride height 4 door, fast-or hatchbacked luxury/sport crossover. Not a traditional 3-Box luxury sedan. Directly confronting the M-B S-Class and BMW 7er in a segment that is becoming increasingly insignificant in markets such as Europe is an effort wisely dismissed IMHO. Hint: The 2027 IAA Mobility in Munich could be a very interesting exhibition indeed for Audiphiles. Should China want a traditional large 3-box luxury segment sedan from Audi, it may arrive eventually. As an (SAIC) AUDI. Shanghai 2027 may be the interesting venue in this particular context. Or a concept at the Beijing show in April ?

But should they do that? People are after SUVs. The miracle is BMW and MB are still able to sell large sedans.

They will copy cat that. After ls now a8 , i didnt heard about a new development for an upcoming ICE s class or 7 series z so my guess this facelift s class and the upcoming facelift 7 series will be final?!

" 'The decision on an A8 successor has been taken and we intend to present it towards the end of this decade. We are going to communicate further details in due course. The Audi Q9 is going to expand the Audi portfolio at the top as large full-size SUV.'"
Conflicting reports, seems it will be a four-year market withdrawal, the four years they lost by not developing a successor beforehand.

Needs the new design language as seen on the TT and not the vanilla shovelware we see here. Looks dated already, heck even the old A2 look more modern than this grandpa mobile.

AI slop. No creativity to be found, no artist's touch to be seen. Soulless junk.

Technically, the Q9 is like a larger version of the Q7. Even the exterior design of the Q9 is very similar to the Q7. It won't even be easy to tell the difference.

I don't expect a huge difference in the interior either. They will largely, or even completely, share the same interior. The Q9 will only have better materials and more luxurious details in some areas.

After the A8's production stopped, I don't think the Q9 alone will be sufficient. The A8 was Audi's flagship model. I doubt the Q9 can maintain that status.

Production A2 e-Tron will unfortunately be the same soulless EV SLOP with split headlights.

This would've been the perfect car for the new design language.

Every new Audi model we see this year, including the A2 e-Tron, Q7 and Q9 are going to be the ugly old design language.

Difference will be easy to tell due to the sheer mass and raised roof rails of Q9. New Q7 looks awkwardly short while the Q9 looks to be "the right size" they will both have the same ugly front end though.

Yeah blame old management on that and getting lost in the back-and-forth of EV transitioning. That being said there will be a successor just probably not until 2029 or 2030 like you mentioned 4 years

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
