That's what I have been telling everyone, I don't care if the figures say a stock M3 is quicker to 150mph because the reality on the street is the above video which is a tuned M3 with the same result.

The biggest mistake Audi did IMO is put the 4.2FSI in the RS4/5 and not this engine.

0-150 mph tells just part of the story of who will reach point B first.
 
^ Not quite, where the 1M stands a dogs chance in none of beating an M5 the TTRS from a standing start stands is quite likely to win against an M3.

Both M5 and M3 are quicker cars than 1M on paper but in races like these the fastest car doenst always win. But from rolling start your video could have ended differently, same as my video could have ended differently from standstill. On the street anything can happen. The video you posted I dont see how the result can be shocking to anyone.
 
No doubt the result can easily have been different from a rolling start because that cancels the advantage Quattro will give plus should put the advantage back in the hands of the M3 through drivetrain efficiency.

But from a standing start the TTRS is a formidable opponent to just about anything RWD as the video showed.
 
Thats the first time ever I see a TT-RS without the wing?? Whats up with that?? I thought it was always there on the RS.

And that 0-60 time has got to be the slowest ever...?? Whats up with that??
 
Wow! Thank you so much for posting this. I've had some nice 10 minutes :) I love the stock TT-RS. But what they've did with this one, is insane! Thanks again
