DOA. But at least it'll look fresh.
Should the concept really be an Audi-bodied Cayman/Boxster EV clone, I must admit that I "don't get it".

From what i know the A8 and S8 will have a update next year but no info on successor.

Throughout the years I have really admired the A8 and I would be happy Audi would use the design influences from the Grandsphere or even the front and rear such as the Urbansphere but in a saloon silhouette. What I am currently wondering is whether Audi will actually present a new entrant in the large luxury sedan segment. Things have gone totally silent regarding a successor to the D5 A8. And the Grandsphere concept was presented...4 years ago. Since then...nada.
And has been the case with Audi since forever. It’s a fake brand. Either VW clones or Porsche clones lately. What else were you expecting? It's exactly that. Like how the Taycan and E-tron GT are the exact same thing.
I believe the best thing for Audi is to asume this is just a SUV brand now.
I would be happy to hear more about a new A8 as well, what a coincidence that I saw this illustration today:What I am currently wondering is whether Audi will actually present a new entrant in the large luxury sedan segment. A second-gen etron GT appears highly questionable as well. These should be crucial halo vehicles for the brand.

Other than a hood and a prestige clearance that are too short, I find this quite good.I would be happy to hear more about a new A8 as well, what a coincidence that I saw this illustration today:

While it leans very asian, imho it could still be a better successor than nothing.
... the current A8 is about as invisible and unloved as a car in this segment can be.

I really hope the rest is more elegant than this view!
It gives me a Jaguar concept vibe, and that's not a compliment.
The front better not be as flat and souless as the Jaguar's.
Come on Audi please be good.
I like the simple in design it's better for the eyes for sure but i don't like "Flat" looking lines and design like the Jaguar EV Concept.Well...Audi appears to have adhered to their announcement that the new design paradigm will be exceptionally "less is more" minimalistic and monolithic. I dare say...I LIKE it. Alot, actually.
Now..can and, above all, WILL this be accurately translated into future serial production vehicles ? 2, 4 and 5 door, low and elevated ride height alike ? Hope so. CEO Gernot Döllner says it will and hopefully, he's not jivin'. I'm digging the sort of timeless, vault-like JLR and RR vibes that this car exudes. A promising signature. Please don't allow Audi bean-counters and mid-tier management numbskulls to f*** this up.

it's look "Robot" like and for my eyes it's not that good.
But let's wait for the full car sometime on view is bad but the rest is good.
I really hope you right. As the first Audi product designed under the supervision of new design chief Massimo Fraschella, that "brethren spirit" of design shared with JLR can be expected. I am probably in the minority, but I'm expecting the serial production version of the Jaguar 00 Concept to be quite stunning.
