S models are supposed to be sporty but not very agressive looking. That's the reason there are RS models which are more "extreme" both in looks and in performance.
S8 is a sleeper. It shows less than it's capable of.

Is there such a thing as an RS8? And what is the S compared to then? I understand what your saying as a "Sleeper" but c'mon, it needed something more body kit like too it. Audi was ideal for such a design, what gives?

Audi officials have said that RS is reserved for extreme versions of A4 and A6 so there will only be RS4 and RS6 but not RS8. Same goes for BMW since they don't make a M7.

Gotcha..... Anyway, whatever Audi thinks is the way to go i guess, is the way its gonna be.

I wonder how much the new rear biased/asymmetrical quattro will improve the handling since the A8 already has been reported by several major magazines like AM&S and Motor Trend to have the best handling in it's class.
