Bit of an unfair comparison why compare the S3 to a middling CLA250? They should have brought in the AMG version or rather compare cheaper models to each other

I found the answer to this comparison. Its all about price. CLA250 is more expensive than S3 in AU (what is MB thinking ), thats why.
Dare I ask how much MB charge for A45 over there?

But is that unfair comparison as well if the AMG version of the CLA competes with the S3 Sedan? Audi reveal soon the RS3 Sedan, which is the head-competitor of CLA AMG. Sure now the S3 Sedan competes with CLA AMG as well, because S3 is for now top model of A3 line.
