The RS7 is fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audi RS7 560 bhp
0-100 km/h: 3.8s
0-160 km/h: 7.8s
0-200 km/h: 12.3s
0-400m: 11.8s

Porsche Panamera Turbo S Powerkit 540 bhp

0-100 km/h: 3.8s
0-160 km/h: 7.9s
0-200 km/h: 12.5s
0-400m: 11.9s

Audi RS7 is hands down, the fastest car in it`s segment but there have been numerous reports about it`s lack of character and fun to drive factors.

Porsche € 180.000 vs RS7 € 113.000. I don't get these kind of comparisons: pricegap is € 67.000!
I'd take the RS7 and, considering the pricedifference, the new VOLVO XC90 for my wife :-)

The M6 is quick, but in these kinds of conditions (wet, bumpy asphalt), the M6 would have not even made it to the same picture frame as these 2 cars, they made almost dry track performance numbers... The future M6 will have awd, then it will be another story. In dry settings it is another story.

Excuse me??? The M6 (GC) CP is faster.

Faster than Panny Turbo S, RS7 and E63 S

Noup :D But yeah, what happens in real life, that matters, just as J_Me said.

Completely meaningless. Different conditions mean different times.

No German car apart from some (two) Porsches reaches the M5/6 0-200 km/h sprint. From 100 km/h to 200 km/h it doesn't even matter if it's wet or not.

The best time for RS7 in 0-200 km/h is 11.7 s, for now, same as the M5, and I don't see yet for M6 GC the same time as the RS7 have in 0-200 sprint, or better. But 100-200 km/h the RS6 did in 8.5 s, the RS7 can do it better for sure ;)

In the real world on dirty streets with worn tires the M5/m6 won't be even close to any of these awd cars with rwd, that would be in the real world. On a drag strip it might be faster and from 50kmh-.

100-200 kph times by AutoBild Sportscars:
7,8 s - BMW M6 Gran Coupé Competition Package
7,9 s - BMW M5 (F10)
8,1 s - Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG S
8,2 s - Porsche Panamera Turbo Powerkit (540 hp)
8,8 s - Porsche Panamera Turbo S (550 hp)
8,9 s - Audi RS7 Sportback
9,2 s - Porsche Panamera Turbo MY2014 (520 hp)

RS7 is brutally quick off the line, because of its AWD traction and short first 3 gears - that's all, above 100 kph the competitors are faster, above 200 kph the M6 GC humiliates all. Up to 250 kph it's even faster than GT-R or R8 V10 Plus... :)

Thanks for pointing that out DeDe.
In the real world on the streets however, who is going to be going as fast as 200, 250km/h. Unless you want to loose your license and go to jail.
You would be very lucky to get up to 120-140mph here in the US in very few location, even that is illegal. Where is the fun in that!

The cheap thrill of the Audi RS7 is pulling away from that stop-light on a stand still from that BMW M6 driver who thinks he could nail you.
That my friend, would give me giggles all the way to the next stop light. This is having fun and thrills in a practical way.

In a day to day ,real world driving situation what are chances that an a BMW M5/6 ,Audi RS6/7,CLS/E63 or Turbo S are going to meet at a stop light for a drag race? Very unlikely isn't it ? Chances are that these cars in the real world are going to meet on the highway in rolling start and that's where the M5/6 GC RWD and DCT are going to have an advantage over all those AWD cars ,we've seen on numerous occasions how quick the in gear acceleration of the M5/6 are.

Here in Sunny South Africa the M5/6 are going to be the quicker and faster cars than pretty much most cars on our road in a normal day to day driving, apart from the unlikely"robot to robot "race the M5/6 is going to be faster and quicker everywhere else than the RS7 and company.

And which is the real power of M5/M6s by the dyno, compares to Audis and Porsches, which have even less power by the dyno ;)

Is that an excuse?
Seriously guys, owners if these cars doesn't give a shit which car is the quickest. All these cars have more power than you guys can handle.

Give me a break, and keep on generalising.

And because you can't seem to handle one (posessed by deckhook?), it doesn't mean we all can't.
