Jon Olsson's Audi RS6 DTM

5,700 requests in 6 hours
Professional alpine skier Jon Olsson drove his hardcore Audi RS6 DTM as an Uber car in Sweden, Stockholm.

It happened last Friday when the hot wagon was available for six hours on the Uber app and during this interval there were 5,700 booking requests. However, only 11 lucky Uber users and their friends were able to take a ride in Jon Olsson's one-off RS6 DTM on the streets of Sweden's capital. With an aggressive wide body and a powerful soundtrack, the vehicle clearly made an impression and is worthy of the "most sought after car in the history of Uber Stockholm" title.

We remind you the V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine was modified with 18-karat gold anodized turbochargers that have increased output from 560 PS (412 kW) to no less than 950 PS (699 kW) when running on regular gasoline while on race fuel the engine churns more than 1,000 PS (735 kW).

Jon Olsson will drive his Audi RS6 DTM in the 2015 Gumball 3000 Rally starting Saturday.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
