If it is unmasked, the rear looks a bit to plain and way too much like the S5.

Nope. That's just a stealthy mule. What's missing on the car is aggressive fenders, RS bumper and some other minor touches. Audi played the same game with the release of the RS6.

I was basing my views on the fact that the front is pretty much unmasked and the side skirts are probably the correct ones too. I was just wondering why they didn't just put the real rears on with cammo rather than that boring ass rear.

Will get massive ovals like the TT-RS which will be surrounded by the diffuser, explains the detached exhausts from the tip
