Hugh Grant has rewarded himself with one of the best birthday presents ever, the Audi R8.
The Love Actually star, who is 47 today, looked dour as he examined the gleaming car - thought to be a treat to himself - in West London.
He even resisted the urge to go for a spin - preferring instead to ease it round to his garage.
Then he strolled glumly back to his house to prepare for his party, which will feature rock band Van Tramp.
