I hate those rising roof rails on the Q9. What happened to the sporty sloping roofline of the previous Q7s?

Classic roof rails are more practical than flush ones, and are compatible with lots of accessories both old and new.

looks atrocious to me

Few three row SUVs are truly good looking. Not a big deal if practicality is more important than anything else.

I was talking about the current X7 and GLS.

But the same logic applies to you....the new Q7 and Q9 haven't even been released yet. How do you know they look bad?

I didn't say Q7 and Q9 look bad. I'm saying it's a mistake for 2 different vehicles in E and F segments to share the same front design. X5 and X7 have different front designs but Q7 and Q9 front designs look the same.

There will be a serious price difference but the front design will be the same. Q9 looks like just an extended version of Q7 and that's a bad decision.

Even though the design language is very similar, it does look like the Q9 has a wider stance and wider front end
