Inside Line has made a long-term test with the Audi Q7 4.2, the results is described on their website: "Nice!".
Just drove our new long-term 2007 Audi Q7 home and back. I'm going to pull out that most powerful of adjectives and call this car "nice" because that's what I kept saying as I explored the car's traits and capabilities. I mean, the interior design and quality is nice. The 4.2-liter V8 with direct injection and 350 horsepower is nice. The 14-speaker Bose audio system is nice. The steering and ride quality is nice. Don't confuse my use of "nice" with "good." I'm always telling people that certain car companies have to do better than "good" if they want to turn things around and/or change potential buyer perceptions. But in my hierarchy of language, "nice" is a clear step above "good" and the Q7, when taken as a total package is actually "damn nice" (which is a step above "nice" and at least two above "good").
