My next premium car purchase will most likely be a 4wd AMG c-class, or a Porsche.

New audi's just aren't doing it for me anymore style wise or engine choice wise. Rs5 was another one where they dropped the ball. 4.2 v8 in the heavy pig combined to power sapping Quattro was never going to set the world alright.heavy 4wd cars should always be torque monsters, not high revving NA's.

Exactly. They had all the momentum in the world. Oh well at least this spate of wrongs appears to be limited to their concepts and hasn't really impacted on the production range which is still stellar.

There are good surprises and bad surprises, this concept definitely belongs to the latter. It looks like a 70's interpretation of what the cars of the future will look like. What is going on at the design department? How do they go from creating concept cars like the R4 to this???

It can be a really nice car.. just change that horribly f.. ugly front. Other than that I think that it looks very good.. This new engine is intresting.. and I'm suprised that their new S-tronic can handle 1000 N-m (is it the same, which is used in the R8?).
But then again.. what the hell with its weight? First Sport Quattro Concept with its 1850kg.. now this weights even more? I don't get it.. Audi, what's wrong with you?

Also, the proportions of the front of this Audi remind me of this:

...and I like that, at least. The rest is not so good.
