I saw 2 new S-classes when I was in Poland recently. Sure they look great...much better then the 7er... But hey... not NEAR as great as this:

Honestly usually I don't like very bright colored sedans but that yellow RS4 is just so damn gorgeous... I can't wait until I see one in the US. Did you hear the price...it's 70K

I've seen and sat in both S8 and S65. S8 is more attractive from the outside and the interior has higher standard than S65. My opinion of course.

For some people S8>>>>S65 for others it's the opposite.

What's undeniable is that A8 is so good as a car that put Audi right there on top along with BMW and Mercedes. For many years Audi struggled against the German competition, A8 was the first model that proved that Audi deserves to be considered equal to the other two. A true winner.

for me S8 is better than the s65 not in terms of power but interms of better looking exterior and interior and just a overall better package. and plus plenty of power for normal driving and a little above normal driving wow black looks so good on the S8 i was waiting to see pictures of this car.

ofcourse your opinion.. my opinion is that the W220 even looked better than both the A8 and the 7er.. we dont even need to talk about the W221..
but ofcourse thats my opinion..

Thanks for the cool pics Luw. While I like the S8, I dont' find it too particularily interesting. I look at it, recognize the understated and restrained design in all it's elegance, but that's it. Can't wait for the next 7er.

I think the car is percetly designed, can't be called ugly by anyone and doesn't unlike the S and 7er have any bad angles. I though I love it's exterior it is not that thrilling. I may also have to add that black is the best car for the S8, I have always loved the old models when coloured in black.

Can you say where exactly? I do feel it is still by and large up to date and very modern.

For me the design of the new S class (AMG or not) is simply nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as the current A8. The A8 and even moreso this S8 looks great from every which angle I can think of. The new S class just doesn't have lines that flow nearly as well, and the biggest problem with it is the way they did the wheel arches, among other things.

I don't even know what the guy with the A8 in the first pic was thinking with those wheels.

I'm also unsure of why there's a Euro spec S8 at a dealership in North America, some sort of demo or dealer training car?
