Audi announces third generation of the Q7

Audi will unveil the third generation of the Q7 in summer 2026. The SUV builds on more than 20 years of success, combining versatility, confidence, and premium status.

Since it was launched in 2005, the Audi Q7 has become a fixture of the SUV segment. Audi is now refining the successful SUV: the new generation impresses with its sporty, powerful design, a highly versatile interior, first-class materials, user-centric technologies, and a wide spectrum of driving characteristics, from comfortable to dynamic.

Finally some coloured leather and wood choices in the q7. The current gen is lovely car to drive but I personally don’t like cars with all black interiors that have zero customisation options.

All black interiors make me feel moody and grumpy in traffic.

A straight up disaster that makers a Chinese car look good.
It's just so patently ugly. Audi continues to struggle with delivering a new frontal DRG that's fulfils the brief of being both attractive and recognisably Audi.

Remember the Yannis days way back, klier.

Those were the days of B7 RS4s and first-gen R8 and RS6s and and... Those were the days where Audi were well and truly at the big G3 table - they hardly had a misstep.

You could hold your head high as an Audi fan back then. Now? I'm really not so sure.

Interior in that configuration looks suprisingly good (still not the gold Audi interior era though...), side profile and realf is OK....ish, but that face. Ugh.. a face that only mother could love.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
