Sorry but this is not the new RS6 Avant which probably is the hottest wagon on the planet right now so I pick 550d which I think looks better than this 'normal' A6. But I'm no diesel person so in the end I would not buy any of these cars if I had the money.

The Allroad is far from "normal", as you state.


I love the 5 series Touring. But IMO, the A6 Avant, in any kind of edition, is the sexiest estate on the planet.

I think you misunderstanding the meaning of the word or I just cant find a better one. From those picture you posted I think prefer 'normal' A6. LoL. The Allround A6 just look messy.

The thing I can't understand is how you Andreas would pick the M550d at all, its grossly over priced and a serious underachiever performance wise when compared to either the A6 3.0BiTDi or 535d. Heck if you prefer the look of the Beemer more then pick the 535d but steer clear of the M550d.

My pick would be the new 3.0TFSI engine in the A6. It's such an amazing engine, and so easy to tune!

I did read it properly and in the sentence before this one of your original post you said you'd pick the M550d since this Audi isn't the RS6 Avant. My point is why on earth would you pick the M550d at all???

If I want a fast diesel then I could just get M550d, its still the most powerful and fastest diesel currently on the market. It may be expensive but obviously people buy them since there are two of them where I live so why can't I? A car purchase isnt always rational. In reality I would get a 445hp 550i instead.

Audi Q7 V12 TDI is a great car. Too bad there is no more laptimes to compare with these two. But only a second slower in Hockenheim than the M550d. Not bad. So big and heavy Audi.
