Like both cars very much, but I'll go with the Merc.

I´ll go with Audi on this..IMO it´s better designed(I just can´t stand C-class rear end:t-banghea ) and better drivetrain than MB.Difference is not huge, that´s true, but Audi is more complete car than it´s MB rival here:) .

This is a difficult decision.

A4
- better looking interior
- better rear

C-class
- need AMG trim and Avantgarde to look really good
- better front
- not a pretty rear

On a sidenote. One funny thing I have realize is that C350 with AMG kit looks better than C63 AMG. The kit on C63 look busy (particulary the front from sideview and rearview the car looks heavy. And the interior is so-so. And the rear wing would look better if it looked like M3.
When I first saw C63 I was in heaven but now I have realized that the C63 kit looks busy or dare I say ricey(?).
I want the AMG kit from C350 and the engine from C63 :)

but if I go on-topic again, my vote goes to C-class. It's hard to judge the new A4 before I seen the car.

Although I'm a big Audi fan, I wouldn't mind owning a Benz. The new C-Class is no doubt a fascinating RWD car, with great looks (especially the Avantgarde AMG package version in white:icondrool), powerfull engines and a pretty nice but definitely a high quality interior. However, all this isn't enough to make me choose it over the new A4. The design of the new A4 looks so solid, modern and muscular at the same time, making it a head turner.:D As with the C-Class, the white color makes it look badass! As for the interior, it surelly looks better than that of the Benz. It will take a long time to age.:t-cheers:

Both are pretty good cars but C-Class in a heartbeat.....for me, the new A4 looks just like a facelift, not a completely new model, save for the LED driving lights (now thats unique!!)

Both look hot especially in white but the Merc needs that avantgrade package to look really good and the Audi has the better interior. I also have other problems with the merc design besides visual appeal (which is excellent) like lack of design language. So Audi gets my vote. They both need a new engine like yesterday.

While the new A4 is a real nice car, I'll chose the C350. My main reason is because I expected more from the new AUDI, but instead I got the same old rehashed design. I'm not saying that it's not good looking, it's defnitely better than the 3er but it lacked the "Wow" factor that the MB had. Plus the MB drives really well and the interior is on par with the A4 in design and quality.

It honestly didn't take alot for Mercedes to 1 or even 2 up there previous C-Class, where the B7 A/S/RS4 was class leading in looks, design, and by most accounts performance. Even the critics feel the B7 RS4 is more of a looker then the brand new E92 M3. Sorry, I just had to add that!:D ;)

That's really relative,i'm sure when u see the new M3 u'll be stunned:D

Considering we weren't talking about the RS4 in this thread, everything you just said turns into a sad attempt to justify your pick. Oh and btw...no where was a normal A4 leading in anything that had remotely to do with performance.

For now C-Class all the way, hands down. If I saw the A4 in person it would probably make the choice a little more difficult.

I see it two ways, Mercedes=stunning luxury and AUDI=conservative luxury. Both are beautiful cars no doubt but the Merc just seems to sparkle more...

And to pass one's own opinion and a pretty biased one at that as a matter of fact is pretty vain.

Good point!;)

I'm going to have to be perfectly honest here for a moment: The headroom in the W204 is quite tight(for me), and I know for a fact due to the B8 platforms construction that there's going to be more headroom, so that could seal the deal for me for sure. I'm too tall to be riding around in a car where I feel cramped 24/7. That has NOTHING to do with the C being a bad car, not at all, you just have to go w/ the car the you feel most comftarble in. It would suck not to have a C but I just can't compromise my lovely head.
