Powering the Aston Martin Vulcan is an entirely new engine which holds the accolade as the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated production engine and contrary to previous reports, it is unrelated to the Aston Martin One-77’s 7.3-litre V12. In fact, it has been developed by Aston Martin Racing and is a V12 displacing 7.0-litres and delivering over 800 hp.
I think they're talking about the Vulcan. But either way, we'll have to wait and see the final engine specs to see how it compares to the FXXK, because the laferrari engine is already at 800 I think.I am a bit confused, the world's most powerful NA PRODUCTION ENGINE? Were they referring to the engine in the One-77 or the Vulcan, either way it is not correct anymore, the LaFerrari and the Fxxk are both more powerful than the One-77 and this Vulcan.
I can see Clarkson taking it to Argentina and getting in trouble again.Vulcan just sounds quintessentially British...
Like this flying Beast.

It's going to be interesting to see aston martin fight against ferrari for the most powerful NA v12 engine in production. The Fxxk has around 850hp at the moment, same with the last Fxx.
Aston needs to pull together the best parts of the Vulcan, Vantage GT3 and DB10 into an actual production car.
Dealer Brings The Only Aston Martin Vulcan In The US For Black Friday Event
As if trying to tickle certain people's generous buying bone in time for Black Friday, the only Aston Martin Vulcancurrently present in the US will be on display Nov 27-28 in Cleveland for an event named " Black Friday Vulcan Experience".
first unveiled in Geneva earlier this year, which is when we also found out that this LaFerrari FXX K and P1 GTR rival will be limited to just 24 units worldwide, each expected to be priced at around $2.3 million.
Naturally, there aren't many people who can afford such a purchase, and let's not forget that this car was made for the race track exclusively, which means you can't drive it on the road legally.
Since this is the only one in the United States and since it happens to be in Cleveland, there are a few local celebrities who might be interested in placing an order, seen as how they don't exactly lack the funds to do so. First big name to come to mind would be Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, though let's not rule out Browns QB Johnny Manziel just yet, since he's been known to do an impulsive thing or two off the field.
For the rest of us, having the chance to see the Vulcan in person could end up making this Black Friday Weekend even more special.
Aston needs to develop some new stuff.
This thing to me feels like old parts slapped together in a new coat. Been there, done that. The specs are nice though. And the carbon too.
