Although Aston Martin has still not confirmed the news, seems to be that in the next hall the automobile of Paris we will be able to see the Aston Martin V8 Convertible Vantage.
These spy photos have been taken during from tests final and as it is possible to be seen, without no type of camouflage. The V8 Convertible Vantage will share the same motor that the version coupé and according to Trend Motor is possible that it makes formal appearance in the market in 2.007.
Not that they will have the Aston Martin, but each one that I see seems to me pretty much more that anterior…

I was sent an undisguised pic of the roadster a VERY long time ago(04') as it was on a turn table in back one of Astons designers. If I had the pic now I don't think I'd post it because it's too private of info that was given to me, and only so many of yet seen it anyway. I can say that w/ the top down it looks great. As this is the first time I've seen it w/ the top up, let alone spy pics, I don't know that I like it all that much w/ the top up.

Well it looks like it would be nice with the top down, but even up its a very sleek sexy look... I think its very impressive...

Just so damn expensive...

To me the rear from the 3/4 angle just doesn't look as well proportioned and balanced as it does on the coupe. They probably designed this car as a coupe first then did the chop top version last, which isn't the best way to do it. They should have done it the other way around.

Perhaps Deutsch, Well i think it is really a good looking car, i like the niches and touches and such... Price might be a big issue and reliability.

In the previous issue of Evo, the Vantage was delievered as one of their long term cars straight from the factory, and the owner(yeh, he contributes to the mag, lucky turd) had persistent problems. It got to the point where Aston offered to buy the car back, and of course he obliged. I wouldn't touch one of these cars w/ a 100ft poll to be honest. Give me a 997TT and I'll be even happier than if I had one of these CRAPton Martins.:D Beautiful car though, very beautiful.:usa7uh: Brit cars have a soiled reputation for having pissy electronics.

I hate to ask what seems to me to be a stupid question but isn't this car out? I have seen it on the streets. Or am I confusing this model with another Aston Martin?

OH wait a minute I think I am starting to figure this out. What I saw was a DB9 but a convertible? Look I know I have seen a new Aston Martin around South Beach and other places here in Miami that is a convertible version of a DB9. I just can't find it on the Aston Martin website right now.

The vantage is the samething or similiar but with a V8?

Here it is the Volante?

That's the DB9 Volante.

There's no convertible Vanquish and Vantage as of now, if memory serves me correctly.
