Kunos Simulazioni have announced that their next-gen racing game Assetto Corsa won’t be released onto the Xbox One and PS4 until June 2016; specifically June 7th within America and June 3rd within Europe.
The reason for this ‘unwanted’ delay so that the development studio have more time to focus on polishing the game and make it a better racing experience; both visually and mechanically.
Assetto Corsa is expected to be the next ‘biggest’ racing simulation game for next-gen systems, with the game itself taking on the likes of Project Cars and Forza Motorsport. So far Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed that Assetto Corsa will feature over 90 playable cars, such as the Pagani Zonda R, Ferrari LaFerrari and Mercedes C9, as well as 27 different tracks from iconic locations such as Silverstone, Spa and Monza.
Assetto Corsa was previously scheduled for in April; but as a result of this delay it will now be released in June.
