I think it's a bad idea to use a stretched Mercedes or, worse, a stretched Maybach for armouring. The length makes it harder to handle and the car less agile. These vehicles are also far too prominent and stand out too much. The best security for those requiring an armoured car is discretion. In Latin America, where there is a genuine need for armouring, several builders use Chryslers because they blend into traffic.
The glass for the Maybach looks less thick so it may be B4 armouring designed to stop no more than a submachine gun or high-powered handgun. I saw the pics of the black S600 W211 in the past and it is supposed to have B7 glass. That glass should be a stronger glass than the factory armoured S600 Guard, which uses B6 glass. I think B7 glass has to be at least 50 mm thick, but it varies.
