AMuS & Sport Auto - Hockenheimring laptimes

^Pretty unfair laptime-comparison: Sport Auto measured the Scirocco R two years ago at very cold conditions (-2 or -4 Degrees C as far as I can remember), while the other 3 were tested at +10-20 Degrees C.

Not Sport Auto, but still counts: tuned-GT-R times by AutoBild Sportscars.

1.08,8 min - Brömmler GT-R Alpha 9
1.09,3 min - Importracing GT-R 630

1.09,2 min - Novidem GT-R (in latest Sport Auto)

The A45 AMG was tested in much colder conditions, the ambient temp was 5degC and track only 4degC, which possibly could result in some icying of water on the track and not ideal for setting a fast time. I don't believe the Leon can be as fast as the A45 on the straights as it has 80PS less power and also less torque and is FWD and not 4WD.

I just noticed the A45 is AWD too, that changes things.

The thing about cold temperature is that whilst it reduces grip, it improves hp, especially for turbocharged cars.
