"The Viper is a vehement, light sportscar. It requires more bravery as the SLS does and it gives you less traction. For this amount of money the car is highly recommended."

If the Viper gets even one vote on this forum, some wrong..

AMS must have done all the tests for this latest issue during those extremely hot days we were experiencing in Central Europe. Acceleration figures are on the slow side, in the handling test as well.

Viper is a positive surprise for me in this test. As fast as SLS Black in 100-200 km/h and quite amazingly better braking and slalom speed. Much better outcome than in Autobild Sportcars. Nonetheless, Viper still is a huge underperformer in the straight line considering its power/weight ratio. It should be in Aventador/12C league. I guess good old manual gearbox is not helping here.

All data of the Viper came directly from Sport Auto's first test - that's what I know. I have no info about the SLS AMG Black Series test, probably those are data from the upcoming Supertest.

Come'on Artist, the SLS is one hell of machine, no doubt, but the Viper is also an extremely desiderable car. I'd have one, if I could afford it.

Yeah but every trackday-posing executive has a Porsche..... for me the Viper is more desirable (not a better car, but much more desirable). It's a Viper!!

The best part is, it bites if you don't pay any attention ;) 800Nm of torque is no joke

Common? ..not at all. The Corvette is a common sight, but the Viper is still a rarity....so when you see one, you absolutely know and stare at The Viper!! :D

As for this comparison, it should be interesting to see what enhancements they give the Viper stemming from its LeMans GT2 race car. Comparing these two cars isn't exactly apples-to-apples since this isn't the standard SLS.

I was talking about the one every track day posing exec has,, the GT3

i cannot understand is so "slow" in straight despite the very good Kg/hp ratio
