The new 911 turbo is overall a perfect sports car, I love it inside and out... I would love to test drive one... 3 weeks ago I test drove the new 4s and I was blown away by the new 3.8l engine and the transmition, it's soo fast and it's so stable at speed and turns...

Same here. I drove the new 3.8 4S too (Targa), and it was just mindblowing.

So looks like the GTR still has the measure of the latest turbo around a track despite being way slower in a straight line.

Now they are at least even, before the FL, the Turbo seemed to be rather left for dead on track.

So looks like the GTR still has the measure of the latest turbo around a track despite being way slower in a straight line.

Lap times:

GTR: 1.36.5.
Turbo: 1.36.9
R8 V10: 1.37.5

The other 2 are not even in the same ball park.

Note that the 911 TT had more comfortable seats and it also had the softest suspension and scored better than the GTR. As a everyday car FL 911TT is probably more easier to live with.

Just saw the latest issue of AutoBild - comparison with the GT-R

Turbo PDK:
0-50 km/h in 1,5 s
0-100 km/h in 3,3 s
0-160 km/h in 7,1 s
0-200 km/h in 11,1 s

GT-R was faster around the track.
:t-cheers:
have they test it on Oschersleben?? i read somewhere car magazine uk did a comparison too.
