You need to stop Just_Me, as a true car enthusiast you know there's no such thing as a small change! I could careless about a 328i or the A5, but the 335i and S5 are masterpieces! All because of miner changes to the exterior which gives both these autos a completely different air!

Really the only difference that's visually important are the split twin pipes for the 335i. Overall you really gotta look carefully to spot the difference. I think an acceptable comparison would the S5 with an M-pack or aero pack 335i.

there is a lot bigger difference in a S5 compared to A5 than its between a 335i and a 330i.

Really warot, and who's qualified to determine what's "visually important"? If the only difference was the split twin pipes then I'd have to agree with you, but that's not the case. The 335i gives off a different air then the lesser 3-Series imo, I can't put my finger on it but it does!

Regular 335i looks the same as any regular E92 - the only differences are exhaust pipes, and different standard rims. No other changes (eg. different grille, bumpers, side mirrors, special badges etc - like on S5 vs A5).

And regarding S5 and A5, S5 has a different spoiler kit and you cant get your S5 without the kit. S5 comes in one disgiuse, E92 in two.

So if the 335i has upgraded rims and tires, I take it there stance is different right?

The 335i actually has a silver grill in the bumper. That makes it really easy to spot a 335i when it is coming at you.

yes for guys like us yes but not for everyone. Its a lot easier to see a difference between a A5 and a S5. *Audi has put a effort to make a difference between A5 and S5. 335i is pretty much the same as a 330i. Also S5 isnt available without the S-kit while to the 335i you can either choose with or without M-kit.

Actually 335d also comes with chromed vertical bars in kidney grille, and silver painted net in air intakes standard.


So, no difference between 335d & 335i - except exhaust pipes & rims.

I think 330d also comes with all chromed kidney grille standard yet I'm not 100% sure.

I hope you are aware that its possible to get the same rims to your 320d/325i or to a 335i
