I still the pick the Alpina B3 here, 360hp/500nm for only 59.900 Euro. And the speedo shows 320km/h instead of 280km/h like in a standard 335i
Top on that same warranties as a BMW and visit a BMW dealer and they fix all your BMW services as well.

Oh so you prefer the expensive ricer.

Like I told Tycoon a while ago:
when Audi hold an A5 presentation here, me & my mate went there in his 335i coupe, and parked it very near to the presented black A5 3.0 TDI quattro. Guess which car attracted more people.
Almost every people observed & checked 335i longer then the A5. Especially kids & teenager didn't care about Audi.
335i was Space Grey with Black leather seats & Alu trim - with iDrive, 18" rims. A5 was black with Beige leather & wood trim , 19" rims.
So ... Some people still prefer E92 3er coupe over A5.

I could very much expect that. The A5 has a thick and sexy profile, not to mention the rear but the front does look a little bit squat.
The S5 is a totally different story though and easily overshadows the 335i.

EXACTLY. You can't really compare an A5 to an S5.

335i is just like any 330i or 325i, only difference is that 335i is using a Turbo. Chassi, steering, gearbox is all the same. 335i is no special version like S5 is compared to A5.
A 335i cost less than a MB C350 so a S5 and 335i arent real competitiors imo.
There is a rumour about an upgraded 335i called 335is, that sound more like a proper S5 competitor to me.
Ordinary 335i isnt in the same league as S5 (although it giving S5 a hard time in the performance department).

in that case the car makes a good point-perhaps even more of an interesting prospect than say...an m3??
Im super impressed the 335i tied the more powerful S5 on the track--acceleration numbers were pretty lousy in this test btw.

The 335i does have an alu grill in the bumper and two pipes, so it does look nicer than an ordinary E92.

When E46 existed there was a small difference between a 330i and 325i on the front as well, with that said thats just small changes on the look.

You need to stop Just_Me, as a true car enthusiast you know there's no such thing as a small change! I could careless about a 328i or the A5, but the 335i and S5 are masterpieces! All because of miner changes to the exterior which gives both these autos a completely different air!
