This Alpina version looks great with the oversized multispoke wheels. I really like the way they change the interior bits to make it a little more luxuries than equivalent BMW model, nice wood and leather.

That interior looks awesome!!!! Love that tan coloured leather!!! And also the green and blue stitching on the steering wheel!!!

A more-dynamic front spoiler and fascia enclose the subtly-revised BMW kidney grill, and shape the transition to the new ALPINA hood which features character chines, lending the new B6 xDrive Gran Coupe an even more powerful appearance and accentuate its class-leading performance potential.

Continuous development of the 4.4 liter V8 Bi-Turbo V-8 engine has resulted in a number of upgrades leading to a significant increase in power output in the new B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. The engine now develops 600 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft between 3,500 and 4,500 rpm (preliminary figures).

ALPINA Edition 50: 600 hp in special edition of B5 and B6

With four exclusive special models, ALPINA celebrates its 50th birthday: The Edition 50 for BMW ALPINA B5 Biturbo and BMW ALPINA B6 Biturbo is limited to 100 pieces worldwide. Fifty of the B5 and B6m respectively can be ordered from Buchloe starting February this year.

With the anniversary edition, ALPINA treats its customers with a rich performance increase, because the 4.4-liter V8 biturbo delivers now no less than 600 hp, making those the most powerful official vehicles in the company’s history! The maximum torque is also raised from 730 to 800 Newton meters.

All four variants of the ALPINA Edition 50 – B5 and B6 sedan, Touring, Coupe and Convertible – run from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The top speed, depending on the model, is limited to 323-330 km / h. Besides the performance improvement, the Edition 50 has its weight-optimized with forged wheels which are 15.6 kg lighter than the standard 20-inch wheels. An optional high-performance brakes with four-piston fixed calipers and Brembo 395 mm diameter brake discs at the front ensures high-performance braking. Standard, all members of the Edition 50 come with larger brake discs at the rear axle and a slightly revised brake setup.

At the rear, wider tires also are used in order to ensure, together with the mechanical differential lock, an increased degree of locking for added traction. Damper and control systems have been specially adapted to the lighter wheels and the increased engine performance.

A lightweight exhaust system from Akrapovic titanium saves another 17 kilograms and promises, with their active damper control, an unforgettable sound experience. Carbon panels on four tailpipes and exclusive in ALPINA blue or green frozen colors complete the exterior.

A special highlight for ALPINA lovers is the optional heritage interior with black and green seats, and backrest center panels with diamond quilting in yellow and black – a truly unique design that is available exclusively for the Edition 50.

All 100 copies of the BMW Alpina Edition have special interior trim: wood piano lacquer decorated with a “Edition 50″ lettering and an autograph from Herr Bovensiepen. All ALPINA emblems in the interior are made of silver and bear the year ‘1965 – 2015′.

No surprise that the ALPINA Edition 50 come with a hefty price: 114.200 euros for the B5 sedan, the Touring is available from 117,500 euros. The B6 Edition 50 Coupe sells for 133,800 euros, while the convertible is 142,400 euros.

I haven't watched the video yet but I'm not surprised at all when it comes to these two. I watch mostly for entertainment purposes...when they're not being annoying that is..
