Adaptive chassis control - worth getting?

I tried it on Scirrocco but can't recall I felt any differences between Comfort and Sportmode. I searched the net for it and people seem to have mixed opinions.
I dont think its worth the extra money (and many seem to agree) to get it for your Golf or Scirrocco.

Anyone tried a GTI without DCC?
