The record of 300mph is coming!(I hope so)🥳

Nothings happening. It's an old picture. Jesus Christ this is basic shit. It's why eventually, time difference etc, I always try to triple check. And this is an extremely good example.

Smh.

(They'd better not be lying however.)

But the Yellow Hennessey Venom F5 Coupe is startling too! I've never said this here before but from some angles it's reminiscent of the Ferrari Enzo!

Anyway to finish off I did speak very briefly to someone high up at Hennessey with regards a possible Top Speed Productions run. They wouldn't outright say yes or no which is understandable but they did say to ask staff members at Monterey Car Week.

Well I'm not there, anything is possible, but I'm not getting my hopes up again difficult though it is.🙂

lmao, faster than the Czinger despite having a modest amount of downforce in comparison.
3D printing hipsters BTFO'd.

Also paging Mr. @RacingLover to hopefully do another acceleration comparison video featuring this Saturn V on wheels.

Couple of observations comparing the record breaking car to its previous form (I assume they're the same chassis):
  • The lower canards are enlarged
  • A Gurney flap was added to the rear wing, which itself is set in high angle of attack
  • The car is slammed to the ground (I wonder if this has been possible due to the hydraulic suspension or if this specific car was manually lowered just for the run)
  • More negative camber on the front axle

The question is, is this lap time really representative of a normal Venom F5 Revolution, without all these addons?

Also, weird how the Gurney flap is missing in this photo.

Went back to their video of the Hedge Hollow Raceway production lap record and it seems like the Gurney flap was present, but the canards were of the previous iteration.

In this case, his acceleration is limited by the track conditions, so I think it’s more interesting to look at how he competes with another opponent who is more suitable for him on the track :)
