what kind of a car was it??

What kind of car was it....

I say a fine, and community service, and a ticket for reckless endangerment. Let his insurance go up a bit!

I'd say take away his drivers licence for a year or 2!

In the UK if you are caught doing over 100MPH you are banned for a year from driving instantly!

I say that the circumstances should determine the severity of the punishment - if there were many other cars, if the road was narrow, if it was during daytime or night time.. then he should receive a more severe punishment. I often complain about speed limits, but a crime's a crime, and if they expect them to be obeyed, they need to make sure that people who violate the laws so flagrantly and to such an extent need to be punished. I'm quite sure he knew the limits, and even if he doesn't like it, he can't say that it's unfair.

was shouted at by the french police force

Well, that'll teach him, right? :cwm1: Wow, getting shouted at by the police force.. :t-hihi:
