Both cars made unforced errors to drop them well down the order and the M Hybrid V8 has not been that competitive at all anyway. BMW have done the absolute minimum to qualify for wins in anything above GT3 for the last 15-20 years... LMDh, GTE, GTLM... we've been outclassed by any number of manufacturers because we do not commit. There's been almost no commitment to the driver squad since DTM 2012 barring the latest 'Juniors' that raced at the 'ring, it's just not good enough and that shows in our results.

Right now I'd take FWD econobox 1 series (or 2 series) TCR car I can go and watch fight for the win each weekend over high profile losses from a token effort in the top flight.

Congrats to Ferrari. I think they got a bit lucky avoiding penalties, but three new first time winners did a good job.

P2 in LMGT3 for Gustl's car, so I suppose there's that.
