So...the front fender vents are non-functional decorative only ? Then why the hell feature them in the first place ? IMHO, an unorganic, superfluous eyesore on an otherwise very interesting and quite spectacular design.

Much, much less so than C63SE.

This is a car that Audi fans can - and will - be happy about. Good for Audi; progress while staying faithful to the longitudinal RS recipe.
Looking at the technical specifications, AMG offers a more performance-oriented package. A smaller, performance-focused, dedicated battery and lower weight. Audi's only advantage is its use of 6 cylinders.

I would always take the V6 instead of the 4cil for performance car (if V8 isnt available) Way more refined
So im guessing the RS6 will be around 2.5kg so around 100kg more with 100bhp more

Good news! In the UK it’s priced at £2,000 less than the M3/M4. Yay! No silly inflation price increases.

Engine sounds deep on startup, like a high revving V8.

Bad news! 640kg heavier than the predecessor.

But damn. This must be the most muscular rear end of any car ever? If I saw these photos two months ago I would have thought naaaah, not a chance. Fantasy ai render.

The Sedan weighs 2,355 kg clean on the hook, and the Avant no less than 2,370 kg. Heavier than the A8 PHEV
The saloon weighs only 35kg less than the AMG E53 (2390kg) and the Avant is 65kg lighter than the T-model E53 (2435kg) with almost same size battery. The prices of both RS5 models are very expensive and higher than the larger E53 which is cheaper at 98K Euros (saloon) and 101K (T-model) with the current discounts.

Both RS5 models however look far more aggressive than any current Mercedes saloon/T-model and equivalent M3/M5 models.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
